Gobelin Scrim
Unarguably our best-selling stage scrim, available in rectangular sharkstooth scrim, ideal for apparition and disappearing effects commonly used in the theatre.
By playing with the lighting, you can make the elements positioned behind the scrim appear – the back lighting making the scrim see-through – or disappear completely from the spectators’ view – front and/or side lighting making the scrim opaque.
It can also be used as an alternative front-projection and rear-projection screen, or used in two layers to create shimmering effects.
This scrim remains stable when tensioned and is perfect for painting when making the most imaginative stage sets and scenery.
Like most scrim materials, it lets sound through, offering perfect acoustic transparency, and can also be installed in front of sound reinforcement equipment without problems.
M1 flame-retardant rated and woven in a range of widths including very wide, this scrim lets you cover large areas without panel seams so it can also be used as a stretch ceiling for large exhibition halls.
In flame-retardant cotton, this scrim material is recommended for use protected from the elements.
